Tom says: I've been creating music for the last six years and I am currently recording my debut EP 'Good Things Come To Those Who Wait' - scheduled for release early 2012. I love to write music straight from within. Whatever format it comes out in, I always find it's the most honest form of expression. You can find me on the streets of Guildford with my acoustic guitar.

Controvert says: Singer-songwriters can be hit and miss. All too often they can be tedious and derivative. Tom Napier, however, manages to keep it interesting; both with original material and a selection of covers that are far from cliché (check YouTube for his remarkable cover of E.T. by Katy Perry, which he manages to altogether make his own). A talented guitarist with a good voice and interesting songs, and he’s an all-round nice bloke to boot. Hit.
